Program Summary:This course will help delegates understand the basics of practical implantology. They will become capable of fabricating single units and full arch implant cases, whilst gaining knowledge of reasons behind implant placement.
Objectives:
To gain an understanding and familiarity of
implant components.
To gain a knowledge of implant history and basic
placement fundamentals.
To fabricate a single custom abutment with
palatal screw.
To fabricate a 3-unit screw retained
bridge framework.
To create a bar over-denture (bar and clip on
two implants). This includes processing of the
denture over the bar.
To fabricate a Procera Implant bridge
(which will include processing of acrylic onto
metal framework).
