John’s son Christian joined the team at Waters Edge Ceramics in 2006, having already studied at Edge Hill University (St Helens) gaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Critical Criminology. He is a very keen sportsman and has a particular interest in Rugby Union. After playing for a number of clubs whilst growing up and studying at University, Chris now plays in North Yorkshire for Skipton RFC.

Chris, along with his sister Gemma, gained a Foundation Science Degree in the study of Dental Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated in the summer of 2009. He is capable of working in several departments within the laboratory and is currently studying to become a Clinical Dental technician at Kent, Sussex and Surrey (KSS) Deanery.
